OREANDA-NEWS. The World Health Organization (WHO) at an extra meeting has declared “a public health emergency of international concern over the global outbreak of 2019nCoV.”

This is stated in the organization’s message posted on Twitter on January 30. The organization reports that it is working hard with “national and international public health partners” to bring the outbreak of new disease under control as fast as possible.

However, the head of WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus drew attention to the fact that the organization does not recommend introducing any restrictions on the movement of people and goods in connection with the epidemic.

Earlier, the WHO recommended that all countries of the world conduct anti-epidemic measures and inform organization of the spread of infection.
