OREANDA-NEWS The turning point in Russia's special military operation in Ukraine will come when the grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas is destroyed, State Duma deputy Anatoly Wasserman told the Ukraina.ru portal.
As he noted, at the moment it is quite obvious that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the course of preparing the next attack on the Donbass, have accumulated a huge reserve of forces, so they will not be enough to defend the rest of the territory of Ukraine.
“Accordingly, things will go much faster,” Wasserman said.
According to him, how much has been accumulated for this attack can be seen at least from the fact that on February 17, Kyiv began artillery preparation with massive shelling of civilians and the Donbass supply system and still does not stop this artillery preparation.
From the point of view of military science, as Wasserman noted, it would be logical to fire on Russian troops and militias of the DPR and LPR in order to stop the offensive.
Earlier, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said that the Russian Federation is not currently chasing the timing of the special operation in Ukraine.
