OREANDA-NEWS  In October, laws on increasing the monetary allowance taken into account when calculating the pension of military retirees, as well as on indexing salaries to employees of federal institutions, come into force. These changes in the lives of Russians were announced by the speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, his words are quoted in the Telegram channel of the lower house of parliament.

According to Volodin, due to the change in the calculation system, military pensions will be indexed by 5.1 percent. "Fulfilling social obligations is an absolute priority of the state," the speaker of the State Duma commented on the innovation.

Also, as the parliamentarian said, the law on control over the activities of payment agents comes into force on October 1. "Previously, this area was not fully regulated, which posed a threat to the transparency of operations. The norm that comes into force will correct the situation," the politician announced.

Earlier it was reported that a new fine for drivers came into force in Russia on September 1. The Law amends article 11.33 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation and establishes penalties for the forced disembarkation of a disabled person of the first group who follows unaccompanied and has not confirmed the fare.
