OREANDA-NEWS. The leader of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky wants schoolchildren to sit at desks during all summer. According to the politician, the education process should begin in October.

«Let's start the school year for schoolchildren and students on October 1, and make September a holiday month. In this case, the school year will last until the end of July. In this way, we'll give people the opportunity to stay longer in the south, where September is also a warm month,» Zhirinovsky suggested in his Telegram channel.

With this schedule, schoolchildren and students will only have a couple of months off (in August and September). Vladimir Zhirinovsky is sure that this way the authorities will be able to «technically» prolong the summer for people. If the Russians can spend more time in a warm climate zone, they will be less ill, the politician believes.

The leader of the LDPR asks not to reject the idea just because of the tradition to celebrate the Knowledge Day on September 1. People will get used to the new date too, he wrote.

Recently, Zhirinovsky made another proposal, which should improve life in Russian Federation. For this purpose, the minimum wage will have to be raised to 30 thousand rubles.
