OREANDA-NEWS. Vladimir Putin instructed to switch to mass vaccination of all Russians against coronavirus.

The President ordered to prepare the appropriate infrastructure for this.

Mass vaccination of citizens against coronavirus started in Russia in early December. Now people in Russia can be vaccinated with Sputnik V, created by the Gamaleya Center in cooperation with RDIF on the basis of a well-studied platform of the human adenovirus vector.

People over the age of 18 can be vaccinated against COVID-19 if they do not have chronic diseases from the list of contraindications, and also if they have not had ARVI in the last 30 days. Vaccination is contraindicated for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

First of all, they began to vaccinate citizens from the main risk groups: doctors, teachers, social workers, then they were joined by employees of the MFC, cultural institutions, trade and service enterprises, transport and energy, industry and media, construction workers, volunteers, students, employees banking and financial sectors, authorities and budgetary institutions.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova said that from Monday, the authorities are ready to begin a wider vaccination of citizens against coronavirus, and for this purpose, the number of vaccination points should be increased in the regions.
