OREANDA-NEWS   Since August 2023, six cases of violation of the state air border by Poland, Latvia and Lithuania have been recorded in Belarus, this was announced by Valery Revenko, Assistant Minister of Defense for International Military Cooperation, BelTA reports.

"An increase in the scale of intelligence activities, an increase in the intensity of operational and combat training activities of the armed forces of foreign states lead to an increase in cases of violation of the state border of the Republic of Belarus in the airspace," Revenko said at a briefing for representatives of the military and diplomatic corps.

The military also noted that the defense ministry reacts to these provocations with restraint, using the rise of on-duty aviation and diplomatic measures, but added that a set of measures to strengthen the protection of the air and land borders continues to be implemented.

Earlier, Valery Revenko announced the preparation of the "liberation army" by the West. According to him, the main focus remains on the use of forces and means of the so-called "Belarusian liberation army" against Belarus.
