The message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly began on February 21 at 12:00. It was reported that the message of the leader of the country will last about an hour.

Earlier on February 15, it became known that foreign media from unfriendly countries would not receive accreditation for the message of the Russian president. As the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov clarified, journalists from unfriendly countries will be able to work thanks to the broadcast of the message, which will go live.

The last time Putin addressed a message to the Federal Assembly was in April 2021. This event did not take place in 2022. Peskov explained this by the busy schedule of the head of state.
