OREANDA-NEWS. On January 14, al-Taji military base located north of the city of Baghdad and used by the US military was attacked with missiles. This was reported by Al-Hadath channel, citing a source, as well as an anonymous interlocutor of Al Sumariya. Later, the Iraqi army confirmed the information about the strike.

According to television channels, five missiles were fired. There is still no information about the dead and injured.

The Iraqi military reported that the shelling was made from multiple launch rocket systems. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
