US Imposed Sanctions Against Health Resorts in Crimea
OREANDA-NEWS The United States imposed sanctions against three Crimean resorts and the company "Southern project", which belongs to the Bank "Russia" Yuri Kovalchuk, reported on the website of the American Ministry of Finance.
There are nine organizations on the list. Among them-sanatorium "AI-Petri", "Dulber" and " Miskhor".
Also in the list was "Southern project", owned by the Bank "Russia" Yuri Kovalchuk, who bought at the end of 2017 100% shares of the Crimean champagne factory "Novii Svet".
The list also includes the resort Mriya Resort & Spa and its management company LLC "Garant-SV". The document of the Ministry of Finance explains that this complex hosted the Yalta economic forum, which is designed to attract investment to the region.
In addition, the list includes the "Agency for infrastructure projects", which concluded in February with the authorities of Sevastopol an agreement on cooperation to attract investment in the project of integrated development of the Balaklava Bay.
The sanctions imposed against the company "Krymtel", which was founded on 18 April 2003 with the aim to increase own generating capacities on the Peninsula. It consists of Simferopol and Kamysh-Burun CHP, as well as Saka heating networks.
American citizens and companies are prohibited from doing business with these organizations, all their property in the U.S. jurisdiction is frozen.
The head of the Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Crimea on sanatorium and resort complex and tourism Alexei Chernyak told, that the inclusion of three Crimean resorts in the sanctions list of the United States will be for them a good international advertising and quality assessment.
According to this information, thanks to these sanctions in the world not only popularized the Crimea, but also its Spa facilities. He assured that the restrictive measures will not cause any damage to the Crimea, but at the same time will be a good additional international advertising to the three health centers.
According to Chernyak, now foreign tourists will want to visit the resorts, which the United States opposes. "After all, it means that there is something really unique. This is the highest assessment of the quality of our health facilities," he stressed.
