OREANDA-NEWS. UN Secretary General Antoniu Guterres said he expects to arrive in Moscow to celebrate Victory Day, despite the situation with the spread of coronavirus.

He confirmed that he planned to come to Moscow for the Victory Parade. “At the moment, all plans remain valid”, he said in an exclusive interview with First Deputy General Director of the Russian media Mikhail Gusman, answering a question about the possibility of canceling the visit due to the spread of coronavirus.

The Secretary General also said that, in his opinion, the onset of a pandemic can still be avoided if countries work together and in coordination with the World Health Organization.
