OREANDA-NEWS Ukrainian citizens who do not have legal grounds to stay in Russia are required to leave the country by September 10 this year, or they must settle their situation.

This decision was made by the President of the Russian Federation and is published on the official legal information portal.

According to the decree, Ukrainian citizens residing in Russia who do not have the legal right to stay there must either leave the country on their own by September 10 or regularize their legal status.

According to the document, foreign citizens and stateless persons who entered the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions before the date of entry into force of this decree for purposes unrelated to employment, exceeding 90 calendar days or for employment purposes and have not undergone the appropriate medical examination, are required to complete the examination by June 10, 2025 and submit medical documents to the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
