OREANDA-NEWS On the night of Thursday, September 19, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) tried to strike two regions of Russia. This was reported to journalists by the Ministry of Defense.

They clarified that air defense systems shot down three drones overnight. Two drones were intercepted over the Kursk region, another one over Belgorod.

The Defense Ministry called Ukraine's actions an attempt to commit a terrorist attack on facilities in Russia. They did not provide other details about the attempted strikes.
