OREANDA-NEWS The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has seized 33 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers belonging to Russian and Belarusian enterprises, the department reported. Currently, the issue of confiscation of property in favor of the State is being resolved.
«The property was seized as part of the investigation of criminal proceedings on the fact of intentional tax evasion on a particularly large scale (Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)», the report says.

According to the Prosecutor General's office, mineral fertilizers entered the territory of Ukraine in violation of customs legislation. Their estimated cost is 650 million UAH. On March 10, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law according to which the authorities can begin forcibly seizing the property of Russia and its residents in the country. The document applies to all objects of property of Russians.

Later, twelve Russian transport planes Ruslan were arrested in Ukraine according to the statement of the Ukrainian state enterprise Antonov. In addition, the company Ukrzaliznytsia announced the nationalization of more than three thousand railway cars from the Russian Federation. Also, in the port of Chernomorsk, Odessa region, the Russian oil tanker Volgoneft-268, which was located at the Ilyichevsk shipyard, was detained for subsequent seizure.
