OREANDA-NEWS. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has denounced an agreement between the Ukrainian and Russian governments on cooperation in the field of creation and operation of space and missile technology. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Judicial-Legal Newspaper.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided: to denounce the agreement between the government of Ukraine and the government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the development and operation of rocket and space and rocket technology, signed on February 8, 1995 in the city of Kyiv,” the publication quotes the text of the document.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has been instructed to send a corresponding message to Moscow.

As the publication notes, the agreement provided for the provision of equipment, materials, blanks and components without taxation to the enterprises of the rocket and comic industries of Ukraine and the Russian Federation in the agreed volumes.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine initiated the country's withdrawal from the agreement to perpetuate the memory of the courage and heroism of the peoples of the CIS in the Great Patriotic War.
