OREANDA-NEWS  Former members of the Forbes list, founders of the American IT companies Veeam Software and Object First Andrey Baronov and Ratmir Timashev renounced their Russian citizenship. This is reported by Forbes with reference to a friend of millionaires.

Businessmen refused passports at the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Cyprus. Now they have only the citizenship of the island state. On a permanent basis, Baronov lives in Switzerland, and Timashev lives in the USA.

Millionaires became the eighth and ninth businessmen from among the current and former participants of the Forbes top 200 richest Russians who renounced Russian citizenship from the beginning of 2022. Among them are billionaires Timur Turlov (Freedom Holding), Yuri Milner (DST Global), Nikolai Sidonsky (Revolut), Igor Makarov (Areti), founder of Coalco Vasily Anisimov, founder of Troika Dialog Ruben Vardanyan, as well as former billionaire, founder of Tinkoff Bank Oleg Tinkov (recognized as a foreign agent).
