OREANDA-NEWS Kiev's official authorities are preparing Ukrainians for a referendum and peace talks with Russia in December. This was stated by Turkish analyst Engin Ozer, RIA Novosti reports

"In the last few weeks, it has been clearly observed how some experts and journalists close to the Ukrainian administration are preparing the people for a referendum and peace talks. Negotiations are likely to begin in mid—December, and in the new year a peace agreement will be signed or a decision will be made to freeze the conflict," Ozer expressed his opinion.

The analyst also recalled that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky himself hinted that "some important decisions regarding the war should be made by the people," obviously referring to the holding of a referendum on peace talks with Russia.

Earlier, the head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Andrei Ermak, said that a possible invitation from Russia to a conference on Ukraine does not mean the beginning of negotiations. At the same time, he noted that Kiev is not ready to compromise on territorial integrity and sovereignty during the negotiations.
