OREANDA-NEWS. In the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria (Russia), three militants preparing a terrorist attack were destroyed. This is stated in the message of the information center of the National Antiterrorism Committee.

The security authorities received information about the impending terrorist attack. During the operational search actions, the officers learnt that three terrorists were near the village of Kremenchug-Konstantinovskoye (Baksan District). “When trying to detain them, the criminals offered armed resistance, and they were neutralized by return fire,” the information center reports. At the site of the shoot-out, automatic weapons, traumatic pistols, ammunition and a handmade explosive device were found. In addition, two ready-to-use explosive devices and components for them were discovered at the place of abode of one of the militants.
