OREANDA-NEWS  Queues of more than 2.6 thousand trucks have accumulated at the entrance from Belarus to the European Union (EU). This is reported by the Border Committee of the republic.

It is noted that 990 heavy trucks are waiting to pass in front of the Polish checkpoint Kukuryki (Kozlovichi). There, employees of the department issued 65 percent of the transport from the norm.

Another 1080 trucks are fixed in front of the border posts on the border with Lithuania. The Belarusian border guards added that the least number of trucks passed through Myadininkai (Kamenny Log) — eight percent of the norm. And at the point of Shalchininkai (Benyakoni), more than 30 percent of heavy trucks were allowed to enter Lithuania.

At the same time, a queue of 480 trucks formed at the Paternieki checkpoint (Grigorovshchina) on the border with Latvia. Border guards have already allowed more than 50 percent of cars into the EU.

Earlier it was reported that foreigners entering Russia will be required to submit biometrics. The new rules will not affect citizens of Belarus.
