OREANDA-NEWS This autumn, more than three thousand trees will be planted on the streets and highways of Moscow. This was told by the deputy mayor in the government of Moscow, Pyotr Biryukov, his words are quoted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Linden trees, ornamental apple trees, elms and maples will be planted along major streets and outbound highways. Biryukov noted that planting trees and shrubs is one of the most important areas for creating a comfortable urban environment, and landscaping of public spaces plays an important role, especially for such a huge metropolis as Moscow.

The trees are selected based on their ability to adapt to the difficult conditions of the city.
