The Volume of non-Oil Exports of Moscow in January Amounted to almost $ 2 Billion

OREANDA-NEWS. The total volume of non-primary non-energy exports of Moscow in January amounted to about $ 2 billion. Compared to the same period last year, it grew by almost 25%, according to the portal of the mayor and the government of Moscow on Tuesday.
“Now Moscow’s share accounts for almost 20% of the all-Russian non-primary non-energy export. Last January, this figure was slightly more than 16%. The most popular export commodity categories of the industry were mechanical equipment and machinery, computers”, the statement said.
According to the Mosprom Center, in the first month of 2020, the products of urban companies were exported to 126 countries. The key importers were the United Kingdom ($ 0.34 billion), the United States ($ 0.21 billion), Kazakhstan ($ 0.17 billion), Belarus ($ 0.15 billion) and Switzerland ($ 0.12 billion). The volume of exports to other countries amounted to $ 0.5 billion, which is approximately 26% of the total export volume of non-primary non-energy products in Moscow.
