The decision to evacuate residents was made by the governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, to ensure the safety of citizens. "The necessary measures are being carried out. The situation is under control," the publication notes. Later, the administration of the Toropetsky municipal district clarified that buses had been prepared for the evacuation of residents. In particular, people are being taken to the Western Dvina.
