OREANDA-NEWS. On March 4, the State Duma adopted a law on the introduction of restrictive measures for violating the rights of Russian citizens in relation to all foreigners and stateless persons, and not just Americans, as was the case before. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

The innovations will affect the laws “On measures of influence on persons involved in violations of fundamental human rights and freedoms, rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation”, and “On the procedure for leaving the Russian Federation and entering the Russian Federation”.

Now persons who have violated the rights of Russians will be prohibited from entering the territory of Russia. Their financial and other assets will be blocked, they will not be able to enter into agreements or transactions. The work of their companies registered in the Russian Federation will be suspended. And also such persons will not be able to receive powers in the boards of directors or other management bodies of organizations also registered in the Russian Federation.

Earlier it was reported that the State Duma introduced criminal liability for calls for sanctions against the Russian Federation.
