OREANDA-NEWS. Analysts of the Rabota.ru service in the course of the survey found that the majority of Russians (72 percent of respondents) want to work remotely. This is reported by RBC.
It is noted that 12 percent of respondents already work remotely, another 16 percent do not consider such a work format for themselves.
The Russians emphasized that the advantages of remote work are the ability to independently manage their time (61 percent), save travel time (46 percent) and money for transport and food (43 percent). Another 37 percent of those surveyed admitted that the remote work format allows them to spend more time with their family.
Opponents of remote work attribute their position to an inappropriate profession (46 percent), lack of live communication with colleagues (32 percent), and confusion of work and personal life (29 percent).
At the same time, 90 percent of the respondents admitted that they would like to get a new profession in order to be able to work remotely.
The poll was conducted in November throughout Russia; up to five thousand respondents over 18 years old took part in it.
Earlier it was reported that in the second year of the coronavirus pandemic, Russians lost their effectiveness while working remotely. One in five companies in the country reported that telecommuting workers have become worse off, and many have begun to quit due to burnout. The results of the Rostelecom survey showed that 40 percent of firms recognized the dependence of financial performance on the level of employee performance.
