OREANDA-NEWS Residents of the Kursk region who returned from Ukraine are heading towards the Belarusian-Russian border. This was stated by the head of the Russian Red Cross (RCC) Pavel Savchuk in Telegram.

"Right now... They are heading towards the Belarusian-Russian border and will be home soon. Primary humanitarian aid has been prepared for everyone," he said.

Savchuk explained that the Russians will be provided with the necessary support by psychologists and a specialist from the Family Reunification Service.

The rescue of 46 residents of the Kursk region was previously announced by the head of the region Alexey Smirnov. According to him, they were brought from Ukraine to Belarus. There are 12 children among those rescued, the head of the region added.
