OREANDA-NEWS The Arctic group of the Northern Fleet will embark on another campaign. The association was created on the basis of the ships of the Kola Flotilla formations of heterogeneous forces. The purpose of the campaign is to ensure the safety of civil navigation and maritime economic activity of Russia in the Arctic. This information is provided by the fleet's press service.

"The North Sea men will embark on the traditional 13th campaign in early August and will work out a number of combat exercises in the Arctic. The ships of the auxiliary fleet and the emergency rescue detachment of the Northern Fleet Search and Rescue Operations Department will provide the detachment of warships," the message says.

The Northern Fleet will work out the landing of equipment and personnel on the coast of the Arctic islands and the continent, where they had not previously been stationed.
