The Russian Ministry of Defense revealed the course of the fighting in the Belgorod direction

OREANDA-NEWS Units of the North group of forces attacked the manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Belgorod direction. This was reported to journalists by the Russian Defense Ministry.
They clarified that the Russian military also defeated the assault and territorial defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Krasnopol, Pogroedy, Prokhody, Petrushevka and Miropolsky in the areas bordering Russia in the Sumy region.
"The enemy's losses amounted to up to 55 military personnel, two armored combat vehicles, a car and an artillery piece," the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier it became known about fierce fighting in the Belgorod region. In Demidovka, as it was specified, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were holed up in many houses. At the same time, military blogger Yuri Podolyaka revealed the enemy's plans in the Belgorod border area and stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were preparing a new strike.
