OREANDA-NEWS  Soldiers of the Russian military police found and defused an improvised explosive device in the settlement of Kirillovka, Zaporozhye region, it was installed in a busy area, the commander of one of the units with the call sign "Pharmacist" told.

"Just yesterday an explosive device was discovered. The saboteurs wanted to undermine the stop, where there is a large concentration of the local population. But we are it discovered. Our specialist with the call sign "Ara" defused the explosive device," said the "Pharmacist".

RIA Novosti correspondents spent the day with a detachment of military police and were able to find out how the patrolling of settlements is going on, how interaction with residents is established, and also witnessed the destruction of an improvised explosive device found in Kirilovka and other ammunition seized from terrorist caches during raids. According to the commander, interaction with local residents is established at a very high level: citizens promptly turn to the military police in case of detection of suspicious objects, almost every appeal is promptly processed, which allows suppressing the activity of saboteurs in the liberated territories.
