Earlier, the chairman of the TFR Alexander Bastrykin instructed to open a criminal case on the fact of the statements of an American about the murder of Russians.

On May 26, the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky published a short video of his meeting with an American senator. On it Lindsey Graham uttered the phrases: "Russians are dying" and "We have never spent money so successfully." In the video, they went one after the other, but the shooting angle changed. According to the Reuters news agency, which has reviewed the full transcript, the phrases were uttered in different parts of the conversation and were deliberately glued by Kiev.
