OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian Interior Ministry has put on the wanted list an associate of Alexei Navalny (included in the list of terrorists and extremists), journalist Dmitry Nizovtsev (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent). This follows from the search database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

According to the information on the agency's website, Nizovtsev is wanted under a criminal article. The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not specify which article it is talking about.

The Telegram channel Shot reports that we are talking about part 2 of Article 282.1 ("Participation in an extremist community") and part 2 of Article 207.3 ("Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Nizovtsev faces up to 16 years in prison.
