OREANDA-NEWS  Rosgvardiya has introduced additional measures to protect the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). About this was informed by the press service of the department.

The Russian Guards provide law enforcement in the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions. Control over the circulation of weapons in the border regions has also been strengthened.

Since August 9, a counter-terrorism operation regime has been introduced in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions. Such measures were taken against the background of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' invasion of the Kursk region, as well as attempts to break through Ukraine into the territory of the Belgorod region.
