OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian Foreign Ministry called the Israeli strikes on Lebanon a violation of international law.

Commenting on the incident to RIA Novosti, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that this "is a gross violation of international law."

The Israeli Army reported a strike in Beirut, targeting a commander "responsible for killing Israeli civilians."
