OREANDA-NEWS. Preparations for the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Normandy format are being worked out, contacts are being maintained at the working level, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko.

"The issue is being worked out. Contacts are being made at the working level," Rudenko told reporters.

According to him, when there is some basis and agreement on holding a meeting of the leaders of the countries, then the meeting can be held.

"We are working on a meeting of foreign ministers not only with Ukrainian, but, first of all, with our European partners," added the deputy foreign minister of the Russian Federation.

Rudenko also noted that the Russian Foreign Ministry, on instructions, will work on a possible meeting of the leaders of the Normandy format, but this requires a truly substantive agenda, first of all, reflecting everything that could be accomplished following the results of the 2019 Paris summit.

“And, of course, there should be some ideas and steps for the future. First of all, on the implementation of the Minsk agreements, and not some other agreements. If there are attempts to change these agreements, revise them, then such games will not be played we will, "he said.
