The Russian army has liberated two settlements in the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine

OREANDA-NEWS Units of the North group of troops are conducting offensive operations in the Kursk region, the settlements of Novaya Sorochina and Pokrovsky have been liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.
The department added that the units of the group also defeated formations of nine Ukrainian brigades in the areas of the settlements of Daryino, Lyubimovka, Novy Put and Plekhovo in the Kursk region.
The losses of Ukrainian troops during the day in the Kursk direction amounted to about 100 people, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also reported.
"In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 21,350 soldiers," the summary says.
The enemy's losses during the fighting in this area also include 136 tanks, 66 infantry fighting vehicles, 98 armored personnel carriers, 891 armored combat vehicles, 589 vehicles, 177 artillery pieces, 33 MLRS launchers, nine SAM launchers, five transport-loading vehicles, 45 electronic warfare stations, nine counter-battery radars, three radars Air defense, 22 units of engineering and other equipment, including 13 engineering barrier vehicles, one UR-77 mine clearance unit, as well as three armored repair and evacuation vehicles, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reports.
