OREANDA-NEWS The detained employee of the Research Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia is suspected of publicly calling for or justifying terrorism. The reason for his detention was reported to RIA Novosti by law enforcement agencies.
As it became known, the employee is suspected of committing a crime under part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Public calls to carry out terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism."
The detention of an employee of the Research Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia was reported on the evening of June 10. The name of the detainee and the crime charged against him are not called. Investigative actions are being carried out, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being considered. An internal audit has been scheduled.
On May 23, it became known about the detention of Vladimir Talaev, deputy head of the Federal Penitentiary Service near Moscow. He is suspected of a crime under paragraph "b" of part 5 of Article 290 ("Receiving a large-scale bribe") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The court sent him to jail until July 20.
