Such a statement was made by Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin.

"Long-lasting correspondence, inefficient information processing should be a thing of the past. This is a necessary requirement of today. And as a result, the digital transformation will not only improve internal processes in a particular agency, but will also have an impact on industry in general. And most importantly, thanks to such actions, citizens and businesses will be able to communicate with government agencies as easily and quickly as possible, to receive the necessary services in electronic form," said the head of the Russian Cabinet.

Mikhail Mishustin noted that the conversion of public services into electronic format will save money, simplify procedures and accelerate the work of different services and agencies.

Gosuslugi.ru now allows applying to universities. This year it is not yet necessary to submit the original passport and certificate in person, the documents are accepted online. For this purpose, the service "Entry to university online" has appeared on the portal of public services. It has been in operation since June 20.
