OREANDA-NEWS The Prosecutor General's Office reported that the activities of the Polish association "For a Free Russia", whose members are agitating Russians to join the ranks of volunteer battalions of the armed forces of Ukraine, are considered undesirable on the territory of Russia. According to the ministry, the association "interferes in the internal affairs" of the country and poses a threat to its constitutional order and security.
The Prosecutor General's Office calls the "ideological inspirers" of the organization Anastasia Sergeeva and Maria Harmast, who "fled to Poland and became residents of EU countries." They allegedly involve Russians in the ranks of volunteer battalions in the armed forces of Ukraine and prepare "resistance groups". The organization also "implements projects on indoctrination of regional journalists to participate in propaganda campaigns" against Russia, including to discredit the activities of Russian diplomatic institutions in organizing elections, the agency claims.
"The Association comes out with a sharp anti-Russian agenda, while Sergeeva and Harmast consider themselves to be a "repressed" civil society. Together with representatives of the non-systemic opposition who have left Russia, they organize theatrical and political actions for the Western public, designed to attract attention and money," the Prosecutor General's Office said in a press release.
