OREANDA-NEWS The property of Ukrainian billionaire Alexander Gerega was arrested in Russia, according to documents obtained by RIA Novosti.

According to reports, the property of the Ukrainian billionaire was arrested in April.

In 2022, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, announced the nationalization of the property of Ukrainian oligarchs in Crimea. In particular, more than 130 objects belonging to RusLine Co LLC were transferred to the ownership of the republic.

Among the founders of RusLine Co., LLC, according to the BIR-Analyst system, there were, among others, firms owned by Gerega: Novaya Liniya and Epicenter K. But since 2018, the founder of Rusline Co has been Drom Ventures Limited, located in the Marshall Islands (according to media reports, this is an offshore company of a Ukrainian businessman).

In 2021, Gerega was included in the list of the richest people in the country according to Forbes Ukraine. In 2018, Russia added the Ukrainian billionaire to the sanctions list.
