OREANDA-NEWS Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Zhaparov discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation and migration with Russian Ambassador to Bishkek Sergey Vakunov, the press service of the Kyrgyz government reported.

"During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral Kyrgyz-Russian agenda, including the implementation of previously reached agreements. Special attention was paid to issues of trade and economic cooperation, strengthening cultural ties and cooperation in the migration sphere," the message reads.

Zhaparov noted the importance of deepening partnership relations between the two countries, and also expressed confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Vakunov, for his part, noted that the Russian side is ready to continue active cooperation in all areas.
