OREANDA-NEWS Estonian President Alar Karis has arrived in Kiev on a visit. This was announced by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk on the social network Facebook (a social network banned in Russia; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and banned).
According to the representative of the Ukrainian parliament, he thanked the President of Estonia for the decision to allocate 0.25 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) for military assistance to Kiev over the next four years. The parties also discussed the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
"Considerable attention was paid to the issue of restoration. Estonia was one of the first to begin the restoration of the Zhytomyr region. I look forward to Estonia's continued active participation in the restoration of our country's infrastructure facilities," Stefanchuk said.
