The Number of Unemployed in Russia over the Week Decreased by 0.3%
OREANDA-NEWS The number of unemployed in Russia for the week from July 24 to July 31, 2019 decreased by 0.3% to 730.4 thousand people, the Ministry of Labor said.
A decrease in the number of unemployed was recorded in 58 regions. The largest decline occurred in the Magadan and Saratov regions, the republics of Tuva, Sakha (Yakutia), Altai and Crimea, the Karachay-Cherkess and Kabardino-Balkarian republics, in Sevastopol and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
At the same time, an increase in the number of unemployed was recorded in 24 regions. The greatest growth was observed in the republics of Adygea, Tatarstan, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Kostroma, Novgorod, Rostov, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Moscow Regions and in the Stavropol Territory.
