OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Ministry of Health has expanded the program of preventive medical examinations to include a study for hepatitis C, the corresponding order of the ministry comes into force on Friday.

"To approve the attached changes that are being made to the procedure for preventive medical examination and medical examination of certain groups of the adult population," the document published on the Internet portal of legal information says.

According to the document, a study for hepatitis C antibodies of citizens aged 25 years and older has now been added to the preventive medical examination once every 10 years.

In addition, the order entitles combat veterans to undergo preventive medical examinations and medical examinations on an extraordinary basis.
