OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia delivered about 35 thousand tons of humanitarian aid to the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions last year, head of the department Alexander Kurenkov said at an expanded board.

"Last year, about 35 thousand tons of cargo were delivered as part of 640 convoys on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions," Kurenkov said.

According to him, the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to provide assistance to the civilian population of the border regions, which "are constantly being shelled by Ukrainian armed formations."
