OREANDA-NEWS  The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation organized work to eliminate the consequences of the disaster in the southern regions of the country, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR), the press service of the ministry reports.

The report says that in coordination with relevant ministries, federal services and agencies, work is underway with regional authorities to promptly eliminate the consequences and ensure the restoration of infrastructure and housing in the affected regions. The situation with the restoration of energy and heat supply has been taken under special control, all services and resources have been mobilized.

According to the head of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin, the services of the construction complex have begun a survey of the territory, after the stabilization of the weather situation, the number of affected objects, houses, the scale of the upcoming work to ensure the functioning of the infrastructure and the amount of assistance that will be provided to residents will be determined.

"At the same time, we are in constant communication with colleagues from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, all involved departments and organizations for rapid response to the situation," Fayzullin added.
