OREANDA-NEWS The price per square meter in new buildings stabilized in 2024. This is how the cost of housing in Russia was estimated by Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia, Izvestia reports.

According to the deputy minister, now prices for primary housing will rise accordingly to inflation. "This is confirmed by the calculated CMACPa, so we will look at it. But so far there are no prerequisites for the price to somehow gallop up, as it was in 2021," Stasishin said.

He added that there is now a balance of supply and demand in the market. The indicator of sold-out square meters in projects with delivery in 2026-2027 is 40 percent against 75 percent for objects with delivery in 2024-2025.

Earlier, real estate market experts predicted a decrease in prices for new buildings and ready-made housing in Russia in 2025.
