OREANDA-NEWS  The meeting of the Russian-Venezuelan intergovernmental commission will be held on November 7, Caracas is ready to develop ties with Moscow, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said.

"We are ready to continue moving forward (in relations with Russia - ed.). A meeting of the Russia-Venezuela intergovernmental commission will be held on November 7th. We have an extensive agenda, we are moving in many directions," Maduro said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which took place on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan.

He also noted that Venezuela was able to rebuild its economy on its own.

"We have very good economic growth indicators, we were able to beat inflation. We have investments, and we are ready to continue receiving Russian investments in our country in order to continue to develop our trade, strengthen relations between various sectors of our economy and develop our political relations with great Russia," Maduro added.
