OREANDA-NEWS Work is underway within the framework of plans to create a gas hub in Turkey, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

On Tuesday, Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine would not extend the gas transit agreement with the Russian Federation, which expires at the end of 2024.

"There are alternative routes. You know, there are plans to create a hub in Turkey, work is underway on this, that is, there are alternative routes," Peskov said, answering a question from journalists about what alternatives there are to supply gas to interested countries.
