OREANDA-NEWS Russia adheres to a consistent line of assistance to the Syrian leadership in restoring order in the country, observing the Sochi agreements, although, unfortunately, not all of them have been fulfilled so far, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

"Russia continues to adhere to the Sochi agreements. Unfortunately, they have not been fully implemented yet - I mean on Syria. And at the same time, the Russian Federation continues its consistent line to assist the legitimate leadership of Syria in restoring order in the country and in the fight against terrorist elements," Peskov told reporters, commenting on the latest clashes in Syria.
