OREANDA-NEWS  Negotiations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine are now impossible, as they are denied by the Ukrainian side, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

"Indeed, no negotiations are possible now, because they are absolutely denied by the Ukrainian side. The special military operation continues," Peskov told reporters.

Thus, the press secretary of the head of state commented on the statement of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier that negotiations on peace in the Ukrainian conflict cannot be conducted now.

He added that peace talks require "political will and willingness to discuss the demands of Russia, which are well known."
