OREANDA-NEWS. What vaccine against COVID was chosen by Russian President Vladimir Putin, only he and his doctor know. This was said to reporters on Wednesday by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.

Earlier on March 24, Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti that Putin had been vaccinated against COVID-19 and was feeling well after being vaccinated.

“We said yesterday that all three Russian vaccines are absolutely safe, reliable, absolutely effective, so it doesn't matter what kind of vaccine the leader of the state was vaccinated with. But abour his choice of a certain vaccine only his doctor and he himself know", - said Peskov, answering the question on what basis the president chose the vaccine.

Previously, Peskov said that the Kremlin would not reveal which of three Russian vaccines against COVID Putin would be inoculated, and the process itself wouldn't be shown. He also noted that the president is not a supporter of "vaccination under the cameras", and even without this he is doing a lot to promote the vaccine. The spokesman, commenting on the time chosen for vaccination, also noted that the Russian leader plans to come up in an active state by autumn in terms of movement and unlimited communication with people, so it is necessary that his immunity at this moment remains at the required level.
