OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin is already in Kazan. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov revealed the plans of the head of state at the BRICS summit, TASS reports.

"The President is already in Kazan. There are no changes in the schedule, everything is according to plan," Peskov said.

The press secretary of the president also clarified that Putin will hold a series of bilateral meetings with the summit participants in Kazan, and an informal lunch for the heads of delegations will also be held on the evening of October 22.

It is clarified that the bilateral meetings and events of the summit itself will continue in the next two days — on October 23 and 24.

Earlier it became known that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic would not take part in the BRICS summit, as he had previously agreed to meet with a number of European leaders.
